Laurus Cheadle Hulme students had the opportunity to interview special guests from different industries in a World of Work event.
The students asked them about their educational journey and how they ended up in their current line of work.
The guests who attended were from a variety of backgrounds such as Estates, Marketing, TV, Nursing, IT and Coding, Estate Agency, Photography, Optometry, Speech Therapy, HR, Restaurant Management and the Army.
Students were able to ask about the characteristics and skills needed for the job as well as understand their qualifications and the educational routes they followed.
The morning allowed students to find out about different careers and understand how their education will help with their future career.
