Laurus Cheadle Hulme students are celebrating an amazing set of GCSE results this year, with 17% of students achieving a grade 7-9 in their English and Maths GCSEs.
77% of students secured a grade 4 in English and Maths, with an impressive 60% achieving the gold-standard grade 5 in both subjects.
These fantastic outcomes reflect the dedication and hard work of our Year 11 students, and the committed staff who supported them.
We are also celebrating the success of our Year 9 students who achieved excellent results in their Spanish GCSEs. 38% earned a grade 7-9, while 89% achieved a grade 4 and 78% a grade 5.
John Peet, Head of School, said:
“Our Year 9 and Year 11 students have once again shown what’s possible with ambition and determination. These fantastic GCSE results reflect the effort and commitment they’ve put in throughout their time with us. I’d like to thank our staff for their unwavering support, and our parents and carers for being such a vital part of the journey.
We’re proud of every student and wish them all the very best as they take their next steps – whether that’s continuing within a Laurus Trust Sixth Form or exploring new opportunities.”
